Young people are gearing up to bake, run, raise funds and celebrate their contribution to Salford for this year's Youth Day celebrations.
Every year the city of Salford takes part in International Youth Day on 11th August which recognises all the positive things that young people all across the world bring to their communities. This year, a staggering 21 events have been organised by young people for young people and their communities.
Salford Community Sport offers a range of sessions and classes specialised for young people and adults with a disability or learning difficulty.
Weekly fun football sessions, delivered by FA qualified coaches
Date and time: Wednesday 11:00am (This is a weekly event)
Cost: First week is Free! then £2 per session
Suitable for: people aged 16 and above with a disability
New football session in partnership with Manchester FA, and Streetgames
Fun, friendly and open to all. Come down to Salford Sports Village for a kick about, every Wednesday 11-12 noon. The sessions take place outdoors, on 3G surface, so please wear appropriate footwear and shin pads are advisable. Coaching delivered by FA staff, plus small sided games.
